When I started this website in October 2007 it was with the intention of giving spiritual seekers a roadmap to work towards that state of Oneness that I too had been striving for so hard for so many years. And though I had received many glimpses of it over the years, it seemed forever unattainable.

 
Little did I know when I wrote about the "Journey to Oneness" that I was actually very close to that Oneness and would soon experience the Cosmic State first hand, and that this time I would not just get a glimpse of it but would immerse myself completely in the Ocean of Consciousness
which is

Siva

 
On 4 January 2008 I attained that blessed state in which all is one and there is nothing but the One.

Though that state has been called by many names, such as self-realisation, cosmic state, enlightenment, liberation, I prefer to call it self-realisation as this term describes it best, though it was definitely both liberating and enlightening.  
It completely changed my life!

 
I was so blown away by the experience, which was repeated on 6 January 2008 that I cared little for material things.  All I wanted was to be immersed in the bliss of Siva.

 
What followed in the wake of that explosion of consciousness, was both the most wonderful and the most horrible time of my life. Getting used to such an elevated state of consciousness and still coping with material reality was already enough of a challenge in itself, but the full rising of the Kundalini also triggered a cathartic karmic purging and a chain of extreme events that plunged me and my loved ones into total chaos -- and this lasted for months.

 
Hence, I didn’t work on this website at all. Once things got a little better I didn’t know where to begin. I felt totally overwhelmed by the magnitude of the project, by the amount of information and material I would have to add. And worse, I realised that I would also have to write about personal things, which was something I really dreaded.

 
On the bright side, I know now from first hand experience how to get to that state, and what it entails.
I know my purpose in this life and what I am here to do.
And, I will be a better teacher, and a better healer for it!

 
When I was in the Oneness and in communion with Siva he told me one thing to beware of:

“Never play small again!”
 

I thought that was fairly easy, but it turned out to be hard!
I am by nature a private person, and keep my deep experiences to myself. I don’t like to be in the lamplight but rather stay in the shadows, observing, like my power animal the panther. So I procrastinated writing what I knew I needed to write, until a good friend of mine said to me the other day:

“Avalon, you are still playing small! You got to get yourself out there!”

-- And with a shock I realised she was right!

 
So now I am going to do the scariest thing I have ever done. And that means something, because I have jumped out of airplanes at 10,000 feet, I faced death several times, I walked without weapons in the wilderness where lions and wild animals prowled, and stayed in the forest alone at night in total darkness - but nothing has ever scared me as much as this:

To write about myself, my path, my personal experiences!

But as it is Siva’s wish, I shall do so now!

I am going to take the leap of faith, and write what I have been told to write, and share some of my really personal experiences with you in the hope that it will help and inspire you, so that you too may attain that blessed state of bliss and Oneness.
